Nikki Presley, LCSW, LCAC has been a Social Worker for over 30 years. She earned her Graduate Degree in 1989 from the University of Louisville. She has vast experience working with individuals who are experiencing co-occurring disorders and has worked for the Mental health Center, Evansville State Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, Department Of Veterans Affairs as well as numerous home health care agencies. Nikki taught as an Adjunct Professor for 10 years in the Social Work Department at the University of Southern Indiana and sees herself as not only an educator but as a public speaker as well.
Nikki specializes in the area of Substance Abuse and is highly skilled in working with both adolescents as well as adults who are experiencing not only addictions issues but are struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship issues and grief.
Her work in the area of adoptions has allowed Nikki to provide Home Studies as well as Pre and Post Adoption Counseling for Birth Mothers. She spent many years providing outreach services to women, children and families.
Nikki is both a mother as well as a grandmother and enjoys spending time with family, swimming and being outdoors. She has been an independent clinician at aha NOW! Counseling for over five years and truly enjoys her work. “I have never regretted being a Social Worker and knew from grade school on that this is where I belonged”.
