Aaron Brosmer, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work. Before joining the ahaNOW! team, he worked with a community non-profit in Indiana as an outpatient therapist. When Aaron isn’t providing therapy at ahaNOW!, he’s working with our Veterans as a Suicide Prevention Case Manager.
While working as an outpatient therapist Aaron worked with a wide range of clients of varying ages. Aaron helped treat issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, peer and family conflict, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and substance use disorders. Aaron has a passion for working with teens and young adults. He also enjoys working with and helping individuals in the LGBTQ+ community.
When working with clients, Aaron utilizes skills and techniques associated with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Aaron enjoys working from a strengths perspective. He understands that every person is different and will implement other therapeutic modalities as needed to fit his clients needs.
In his free time Aaron loves spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys performing within our local theatre community.
