Jenna Whitfield, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her degree from the University of Southern Indiana. Prior to joining the ahaNOW! Team, she worked in a middle school setting with Youth First Inc., a non-profit agency that is dedicated to strengthening children and families.

Jenna  enjoys working closely with her clients on various topics including depression, anxiety, grief, family conflict, anger management, and self-harm among other concerns. Collaborating with clients to work through their concerns and overcome hardship is the most fulfilling work Jenna can imagine doing. She believes that each client is the expert of their own life and being invited on the journey of healing or growth is a tremendous privilege.  Jenna works with clients of all ages and offers individual, family, and marital sessions.

Jenna has received training in play therapy with focuses on anxiety disorders, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, CBT, TF-CBT, solutions focused, Gottman Method, IFS, and crisis interventions. She uses an eclectic approach, which acknowledges her belief that each modality of therapy is not suitable for each client. Her holistic method allows her to find what works best for each client.

In her free time Jenna spends time with her husband, son, and two dogs. She enjoys staying active through running or hiking, but also appreciates downtime to watch television or lay in the hammock with a good book.
