Mallory Newhouse, LSW, is a licensed social worker who earned her Master’s in Social Work from Indiana University. She has previously worked as a therapist at United Methodist Youth Home, serving at-risk youth with complex trauma. Prior to this, she worked individually with children and adolescents doing home based case work at Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare.
She enjoys working with children of any age, adolescents, and young adults navigating symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She uses an eclectic approach to treatment, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client Centered Therapy, and utilizes a strengths-based approach. Mallory thoroughly believes building strong rapport between client and therapist is the foundational step for meaningful change.
In her free time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her two children, cat, and Pug. She will never turn down an opportunity to watch a documentary and enjoys reading.”
