Erin Baum, LSW, is a licensed social worker who joined aha NOW! Counseling in July 2023. She is devoted to providing a warm, compassionate therapeutic environment in which individuals feel safe and free to openly explore their thoughts and emotions, empowering them to make positive life changes.

Erin earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 2013. Prior to joining the aha NOW! Counseling team, Erin worked as a Mental Health Counselor at the University of Evansville. In this role, she provided mental health support and counseling services to students, helping them navigate personal, emotional, and academic challenges. Erin also has experience working with families in a home-based therapeutic capacity, individuals in short-term residential treatment for substance abuse issues, and individuals receiving acute psychiatric inpatient care.

With in-depth knowledge and understanding of various therapeutic modalities, Erin is committed to providing personalized, collaborative, and evidence-based treatment to all clients. Erin’s therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored specifically to address the needs and goals of each unique client. This involves utilizing elements of various modalities including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Client- Centered, and Solution Focused models.

Erin enjoys spending her free time with her husband, Andrew, and three silly cats, Margot, Ophelia, and Magdalena. She treasures her family and friends above all else. Her interests include interior design, genealogical research, reading/watching true-crime related books/documentaries, and traveling.
